I'll Keep You My Dirty Little Secret

I'm baaaaaaaaack! And it feels so good! I love taking short trips, and the newness and break that they offer but nothing feels quite like home! I had such a fab time celebratin' the birth of my sissy and how awesome she is, though! No one belts songs out in the car quite like us. ;) Do you all want in on a little well kept secret of mine, though? This secret is so well kept in fact, that even I forget about it every year. Ready for this? I hate summer. Yep, your eyes are not deceiving you. You read that right, I hate summer. The heat makes me cranky. All the time. My tolerance for heat is about .5 seconds and I hate constantly being thirsty. Also? I hate that since it's so warm outside everyone cranks up their AC so all buildings feel unbearingly cold, which makes dressing for summer impossible because wearing a sweater at all times becomes a must. Ok, now I'm just being whiny. I guess I don't really hate summer, I just hate being hot. I'm such a baby. I mean, I do LOVE the long nights and bright early mornings!

I had the worst shopping luck in Vegas, you guys. Every time I found a pair of shoes for a stellar price, they'd be sold out in my size. Perfect pair of red flats? Only available in a size 5. Perfect pair of nude colored STEVE MADDEN heeled sandals (for $30!!!)? Only available in a size 8! Find the perfect Father's Day present for my dad? Only available in a size too small or a size too big. The odds were not in my favor! I guess the universe was trying to get me to stick to my shopping challenge, which I really only kept for the first three months of the year. Whoops. I'm awful. I was able to snag one pair of shoes, a few pairs of sunnies, and an awesome Darth Vader tee, though! I can't wait to rock them all! :) Also, I'm SO loving crisp whites this summer! This time, I wanted to pair my whites with a pop of color so I went with this pair of neon blue heels that I picked up at h&m last summer! Also, I love the look of clean simple button ups with relaxed baggy boyfriend shorts!
