Ma stomach hurts, and I wish I had some nice Belgian waffles and frites to make it feel better. Also, some nice Belgian waffles and frites would accompany tonight's episode of "Manhattan Love Story" nicely. Why isn't there a waffle shop anywhere near my house? Life is cruel. Speaking of cruel, wanna know what else is cruel? There's a snowstorm in the forecast for Sunday!!!!!!!!! SNOW!!! And those aren't exclamation points of happiness. I am not looking forward to being cold. I am looking forward to mugs and mugs of white hot chocolate, though! Pros and cons, guys, pros and cons.
Guys, I love trousers. They're so sassy and chic and you guys know how I feel about anything that's sassy. I LOOOOOVE it! Aaand, that's pretty much all I have to say now. I know, I'm more boring than, than, ....stuff that's...boring. And that's how boring I am, I couldn't even think of a funny quip to end that sentence with. Anyway, yeah.
I have been one poopy blogger this past week! I honestly just didn't have anything to post, and I was kinda feeling like I was in a funk. Know what I mean? Have you ever felt like you're in a funk? Eh, eh? Well, hopefully I get my groove back soon because I hate feeling funky! Aaaalso, this week is Halloween! I have a love hate relationship with Halloween. But mostly hate. I like the "idea" of dressing up but then I always get too lazy to put effort into it and I always end up coming up with last minute costumes. And I can't help but feel kind of silly. Any one ja feel? Plus I always end up getting sick for Halloween. Last year it was boogies galore and this year I'm feeling a sore throat coming on. Pooey.

This look was all about cozy simplicity and enjoying the last of these perfect 70 degree weather days! I know they'll be gone soon so I wanted to take full advantage of still being able to wear shorts with a sweater! Also, nothing screams Fall like browns and nudes! Well, that's all. I know, I know, I'm boring.
This post is going to be short and sweet today. There are bigger things on my mind today that for the privacy of others I won't go into detail about. I will say this, though, life is so short. Appreciate family & friends and make sure to let them know how much you love them! It's so important! Anyway, I hope your weeks have been good, and take heart, it's hump day! Oh la, another week has started again and here I am at 12:00am typing up my blog post because as per usual I got lazy and waited until now to type it up. One of these days I'm going to get back in the habit of going to bed at a decent hour. I used to be so good at that. Then Netflix happened. At least the weekend was good! I went to the Anberlin concert and it was AMAZING! I jumped. I screamed. I wooed. I sang. I got moshed. Oh, and let's not forget the part where I left the concert smelling of other people's sweat. That was the highlight. ;) Sigh, I really do love concerts, though. Nothing beats being young and going to rock concerts with people you love! I also had the fab opportunity of going to the Nordstrom Fall Beauty Trends event on Saturday morning! I'll give you full details on that later, but I will mention that I got my eyebrows done and it's like I got a whole new face! ;) In other riveting news, I started watching Manhattan Love Story (per recommendation of Lauren) and it ROCKS! Did any of you ever watch Greek? Because Evan, from Greek, is one of the titular characters and he is just as much of a hunk-a-hunk as he was when he was on Greek! Except for his flesh colored beard. That has got to go. I also found out that my sister had started watching the series without me! Little traitor. ;) Anyway, you all should watch it. STAT.
My favorite thing about Fall is all the layering. I love being able to wear a sweatshirt AND a denim jacket! Plus, sequins season has begun! I love it! I'm thinking it's time to get myself sequined pants and a sequined dress! A girl can't say she's truly lived until she's owned sequined pants! ;) Also, I'm in LOVE with these sparkly gold slip ons from American Eagle! They're UBER comfy, and SUPER chic while still being relaxed. Best combo ever! Anyway, it's 12:21 now and I want to go to bed now sooooo....yeah.
Tis Fall young lads, tis Fall! The leaves are yeller and the air is crisp! And now I'm done trying to type like an old English hobo! ;) You know what else is going on today? The Anberlin concert!!! AHHHHH!!! I'm SO excited! SO! Also, I think I need a vacation. I'm starting to get a little "freak-outy" and that's usually an indication that I need a nice break. A pause on life, if you will. Too bad life doesn't actually pause. Anyway, I'm also thinking it'd be a good idea if I could just magically plop down a cabin right smack in the middle of these mountains. That would be pretty great. Also, I know I've been boring as crap lately so my apologies. That's what happens when I'm a good blogger and I actually blog five days a week like I should, I run out of things to say. I know, I know, poopoo for me.
You know what color I love this Fall? Yellow. I love yellow. Which, for me is huge because I NEVER used to wear yellow. NEVER. Mostly because I used to be yellower than a banana. No joke. Before I became a runner I used to be really pale. Not in the cute "pale-vampire" kind of way either but in the pale like a yellow crayon kind of way. So I never used to wear yellow. In fact, I thought that I COULDN'T wear yellow because of how yellow I was. Buuuuut then I spent loads of time in the sun, running, got super crazy tan, stopped looking so yellow, and I decided that what the heck, if I want to wear yellow than I can gosh dang wear yellow! So I did. Aaaand I love it. So that's that. Anyway, in the spirit of Fall, today's outfit was all about Fall staples: leather booties, wine colored hat, yellow over sized sweater, and faded black denim!
