First and foremost...what day is it? I think it might be Tuesday? Yeah...It's probably Tuesday, correct me if I'm wrong. Well, if it IS Tuesday then that means that it's been a full FOUR days since I last posted anything. My apologies. I got sick late Thursday night and I honestly couldn't really muster up enough energy to do much the rest of the weekend. I mean, my parents took off for Vegas on Saturday to celebrate their 24th wedding anniversary (more on that later this week) and my sister and I were charged with running my Dad's dealership on our own. A pretty hefty challenge, especially when you're sick. Anyway, with that little mountain to climb, and the fact that I had to prepare a lesson for my Sunday School class my sick little scattered brain didn't really have enough time and/or energy to think of anything other than the tasks directly at hand. I'm still feeling a little under the weather so if this post is weirder than fishes eating gumballs and makes about as much sense as a hobgoblin skiing on candy mountain then you know why. Anyway, I wore this outfit a few days ago and I realize I've already blogged about this dress on three separate occasions (here, here, and here) but that was back in my first month of blogging so the photo quality wasn't great and the content quality wasn't at it's finest so I figured it'd be alright to give the dress another whirl on this here blog (FYI, I like to talk like a hill billy when I'm sick). Plus, I like to keep things on this blog as close to real life as it gets and in real life you wear your clothes more than once.

Let's discuss the title of this post shall we? I originally called this post "The Headless Blogger" because in about half of the photos I picked for it I decided to crop out my head. It was an artistic decision. Just kidding, it wasn't. I mostly did it because when I wore this outfit on Sunday I was still in the grips of deep sickness so I didn't really like how the head portion of me looked, therefore, I decapitated myself in these photos. Problem solved. Oh, and if you'll notice, 99% of the photos where my head IS included I'm not looking directly at the camera. Anyway, as I got typing I realized that the fact that my mind seems to be MIA right now with this nasty cold/congestion makes the "headless" title even more appropriate. Alright, now let's discuss the second part of the title, clammy hands. The other day, after my Sunday School lesson, one of the guys in the class came up to introduce himself to me. We talked. He shook my hand. His hand was sweaty. Mine was not. Then, that just got me to pondering about why exactly guys hands get so clammy and sweaty all the time. It just doesn't make sense. I mean, we had BOTH been in the same crazy hot classroom, and I had been sweating up a pretty big storm myself, BUT my hands didn't get sweaty one little bit. I'm sure there's some sort of buggedy boo, blah blah, scientific reason for this but I don't know it so if one of you readers do, enlighten me please. Anyway, that was the biggest thought rolling around my brain while I was sick this weekend. I DID, however, have a couple of other random sickness induced thoughts rolling around in my noggin too. Like, how come our mouths get so dry while we're sleeping? Why the heck does that happen? It's pretty annoying. I hate getting up to pee in the middle of night only to wake up with a mouth dryer than butt crack Egypt. Oh, and that's another thing! Why do we have to pee so gosh dang much? I hate peeing. If I could not pee for the rest of my life I would be happy. Talking about pee is a little weird...even I'm a little weirded out right now. I'll stop. BUT just take a quick second to think about how weird the word pee sounds now that I've said it a thousand times. Sounds kind of like a gibberish word now, huh? I had one last thought rolling around in my mind but it'd take up a lot of room in this post to share it so I'll save it for another time.
Much Love!
