Hello darlings! You will all be receiving primarily headless photos once more because apparently I was incapable of not blinking today. I was literally blinking in almost every single one of these photos. Naturally, that meant I needed to "artistically" behead myself in these photos. Anyway, have you guys ever watched the movie Penelope? Do you guys remember Reese Witherspoon's character, Annie, in that movie? Well, I felt very Annie-ish in this outfit, what with the leather jacket, layered necklace, and scarf. All I was missing was a funky hair-do. See those booties? Well, I've owned them for over a year now and this is the first time I wore them. I don't know why in jelly's name it took me so long to wear them, I swasing love them! They're tiny and a adorable, much like a newborn baby.
This is my, dang it I blinked AGAIN pose. ;)
{Target: floral dress; Wilson's Leather: jacket similar; h&m: black booties similar, layered necklace similar, sheer tights}
Guys, I gotta be honest here. I'm more tired than a...than a...than a...dwarf giving a piggyback to Sasquatch! It's currently 11:17 PM and I've been up since 5 AM. My workout this morning was brutal, and I'm trying to muster up enough energy to say something funny and entertaining but all my brain keeps providing me in way of ideas for jokes is jelly bean. I keep going, "hey brain, I need something funny to say" and all my brain gives me in response is, "how about jelly bean?". Then of course I respond with, "No seriously. I need something that's actually funny" and my brain just goes,"Nah, I think I'm going to stick with jelly bean. Jelly bean is funny. Roll it around your tongue a bit. You'll see that it's funny". Then, I just get mad and share my creepy late night brain conversations with you all...I need sleep. Jelly bean. Jelly. Bean. Jahelly, beeeean. It is kinda funny. Alright, I'm goin' to bed y'all, this gurrrl needs her rest and I'm starting to sound crazy and just a tad bit like I live in the Bronx.
Much Love!
haha! I've actually never taken the strategy of cutting off my head for blinking photos...I usually decide, "Nah, that outfit didn't need to be posted anyways." Maybe artistic cropping would be more productive.
ReplyDeleteHaha artistic cropping always does the trick! :)

Huge, HUGE fan of floral skater dresses, and I love how you paired it with the black jacket and tights, this is a perfect look! I've been trying to find a nice vintage skater dress for sometime now as I'm a fan of the movie Gas Food and Lodging and the main actresses in that 90s movie wear midi floral dresses.
ReplyDeleteThanks Elizabeth!!! Check out Target! That's where I got this dress, and it was only $15!! :)
