Guys, I just got through my last midterm and it feels pretty dang righteous! Seriously, now I get a nice easy-ish week. Yum! Also, I've seriously started looking into getting certified to ride a motorcycle and BUYING one. Not even kidding. I just made it a goal this year to tackle exciting things and that is number one on my list right now. Also, nothing lights a fire under my butt like a challenge and I want to show the world that just because they all see me as all "frou, frou, I live on a rainbow" that doesn't mean that I'm not 100% capable of doing tough things. Anyway, yeah. My laptop is being a real turd right now and keeps shutting down every two minutes so I have to keep this brief.

Rock & Roll
(Creepy baby fists anyone?;)
Guys I'm about to say something I never thought I'd say. Tonight, I hate Rock & Roll. I'm attempting to tackle a 100 question midterm exam on the history of Rock & Roll and it's killing me. Seriously, I love music and I love the class but being tested on such trivial facts is driving me bonkers. I've still got about 60 questions left. Ugh. In cheerier news, though, I also had my Intercultural Communication midterm exam this morning and I think I killed it. I was pretty dang proud of myself. Woot, woot. Aaaaaand I have some INtense back pain right now. It's INsane. Like, I want to junk punch somebody from how badly it hurts. URRRRRRR. Also, I'm dreaming of Spring Break already. I know I've still got a little over a month till it's time but I'm sooo ready for it. I can't wait to explore Big Sur and feel some sand beneath my toes. Yummmm.

Much love!

Remember Remember the 5th of November
Guys, Christmas season is pretty much upon us!! I'm SOOOOO excited about it! Christmas is my favorite time of year, you guys! It makes me so crazy excited and giddy, I love it! Also, also, "Selfie", you guys! Are any of you watching it?! If you aren't, START. It's so crazy good and I think I'm a little bit in crush with Henry. Aaaaaalso, yesterday was November the 5th! Do you all know what that means? It means it was Guy Fawkes day in England which means it was watch "V for Vendetta" day for me here in the U.S. Holla!!! Also, Tuesday was Election Day and I hope you all took the time to vote, it's important! I'm preeeeeetty unhappy with the results overall as well as the results in my state but whatevs, ce la vie, we can't have it all.

I'm totally not usually the body-hugging-clothing-wearing type of girl because although my jeans may say zero nobody seems to have told my butt and hips that because I've got birthing hips ready to pop out a 9lb baby and a bootay that's freakishly out there. One of my fellow blogger pals convinced me to just go for it with this dress, though, so I took her advice and took the plunge. Let me tell you all, it was scary. I'm still even kind of nervous posting this outfit because of how booty toochy (thank you Tyra for coining that fabulous phrase!) these photos are. Even, though, I'm still a little nervous about wearing such a booty toochy dress, I do have to say the dress itself is pretty fab! It's crazy soft, and I love it's color! I feel like it'll be perfect for Winter (dare I even speak of that horrid season?). Do you all remember the boutique I mentioned in Monday's post? Well, this dress is another gem from that boutique! If you're a Utah local check em out!
Much love!

I've already mentioned various times my love for maxi skirts in the Fall but another love of mine in the Fall is re-purposing maxi DRESSES. My favorite way to re-purpose a maxi dress is by throwing a tee over it, tying a loose knot on it, and adding some simple accessories. It's such an easy way to throw together a relaxed outfit that was completely lazy in the making but doesn't look lazy. It's completely amazing and if you're looking for different ways to wear your closet classics then this is definitely a look you need to try! The dress I'm wearing above is actually a dress I bought last holiday season so it's been sold out for a while but I'll link some similarly fab options below! Also, I love how "whimsical-desert-wanderer" these photos turned out! Raquel really knows how to work her magic! As I always say, if you're in need of photos she is definitely another fabulous choice for you all to get in touch with!
Much love!
